It's a small world

A few weeks ago I was chatting with someone who couldn't see the point of this blog and blogs in general. Occasionally they would read a few of my posts but couldn't understand why I wanted to tell people what was going on up at Plas y Nant and didn't think that people would be interested in knowing. However, I decided to persevere as I had received positive comments and e-mails and I am of the belief that you can't please everybody all the time.

At the weekend I thought I'd better have a look at the stats for this blog and see how many people are actually reading it and I was amazed to see that there are readers all over the world. Now some of the countries, ie United States, Canada, France and Spain didn't surprise me as I knew where some of the readers were, but the ones that did take me a bit by surprise were Russia, Brazil, Greece, Australia and Ethiopia! I just can't imagine how the comings and goings at Plas y Nant can be of any interest to someone in Ethiopia but I would like to say a big hello to everyone out there, wherever you are, and do keep reading. A group of us are planning a trip to Moscow next year so maybe we could meet up with our Russian readers - and yes, before you all start, I do know Russia is a big place and they might not be living in Moscow but it's worth a try.

  1. Hi Michelle

So glad to see that Plas Y Nant has been rescued from ruin, we got married there in November 2007. It was pretty tired looking then but it had such a special feel to the place, it just had to be there.

Good luck with everything, and looking forward to visiting when you are up and running.

PS have some fab pics of the day!

    Have you found the faries?
