I name this building .......

Bwthyn y Plas. Gawd bless her and all who will live in her.

Many hours have been spent trying out names for what will be our cottage here at Plas y Nant. We would think of a name, use it for a few days to see if we liked it, forget what it was, remember it and then discard it. Finally it dawned on us how obvious the new name was. Since we'd started drawing up the plans to convert what was the bunkhouse we'd started referring to it as "The Cottage" or "Plas y Nant Cottage". Therefore, seeing as we wanted a Welsh name, it had to be "Bwthyn y Plas". Simples!
